SWLUG Site has moved! |
|
|
admin writes "As I'm sure some of you noticed, the LUG site was down yesterday evening and most of today.
This was due to the fact that I was in the process of upgrading the software which runs the site.
Normally, that wouldn't mean the site moving, but I also decided to take the opportunity to move the site back to lug.org.uk - not only does the server seem quicker, they also give me shell access which is very useful.
So, while all links to the old server will work (they are forwarded here), the new site address is http://www.southwestlug.uklinux.net.
If you see any site listing the old address at uklinux.net, I'd be greatful if you could let them know of the change of address."

Next LUG meeting - 15th December 2002 |
|
|
admin writes "The next LUG meeting, scheduled for 15th December in St. Austell, is now well into the planning stages.
To keep up-to-date and have your say, join the mailing list and keep an eye on the meeting info page which will be updated as things are finalised.
To find out more on the planning without joining to mailing list, check the list archives.
Things are certainly sounding good so far, with likely talks to include PHP, XML, Windows to Linux Business Migration and a SuperTramp update."
Note: Just updated the meeting info page with the latest developments.
