Red Hat Sues SCO
Posted by admin on Tuesday, August 05, 2003 - 09:28 AM
Red Hat admin writes "Red Hat, in response to the recent SCO silliness, has announced that it intends to sue the SCO Group to prove that Linux does not violate SCO's intellectual property.
They have also set up the 'Open Source Now' fund which will be used to fight this and future legal battles.

"We filed this complaint to stop SCO from making unsubstantiated and untrue public statements attacking Red Hat Linux and the integrity of the Open Source software development process," said Mark Webbink, General Counsel at Red Hat, in a statement. "
