ClarkConnect 1.0 Released
Posted by benjamin on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 - 12:00 PM
Red Hat benjamin writes "One day, I hope to see a dedicated section for ClarkConnect - a do-it-yourself firewall/server solution for the home or small office and based on Red Hat Linux.

There's a lot going on at Point Clark Networks, sponsors of the open-source software. With the release of 1.0, the free dynamic DNS service remains the same, but all services have been moved over to MinimizeIT, a remote management portal also by Point Clark Networks that ties in nicely to the OS platform. The first 'commercial' version of ClarkConnect is due to be released this month, a 'blackbox' development platform has been initiated (for those looking to develop their own gateway platform) and a developer/partner network is in final beta to help push the idea of services via broadband using Point Clark Networks Suva technology. "
