 KDE 3.0 released
KDE Anonymous writes "The KDE Project have announced the immediate availability of KDE 3.0, the third generation of KDE, a free and powerful desktop for Linux and other UNIXes.
The release of KDE 3.0 includes an impressive catalog of bug fixes, performance enhancements and feature additions."


Note: KDE 3.01 has been released recently which I suspect is mainly a bugfix release.

 KDE 3.0 Second BETA released

 KOffice 1.1.1 Released
KDE Anonymous writes "The KDE Project today announced the release of KOffice 1.1.1, a bugfix release. KOffice is a free, integrated office suite for KDE which utilizes open standards for component communication and component embedding.
