" Posted by admin on Saturday, April 10, 2004 - 05:03 PM (849 Reads) 1 Comment  Software Patents: The battle was won, but the war has hardly begun admin writes "After the protests in Brussels this week and online it has been announced that the "McCarthy report" , discussing the patentability of "computer-implemented inventions", including software methods and techniques, has been withdrawn pending "further examination at committee level". This is certainly a victory, but there is more work to be done. You can help by signing the petition. See here for more information on the dangers of software patents."
